Imagine hiring someone to sell for your business, but never telling them what counts as a successful sale.
That would not make much sense.
Google Ads works in a similar way.
If conversion tracking is not set up correctly, Google may know that someone clicked your ad, but it will not know whether that click became an enquiry, booking, phone call or sale.
Without that data, it is much harder for Google to optimise your campaign properly.
Conversion tracking gives the platform feedback. The more accurate that feedback is, the better Google can become at finding people who are likely to take action.
Do your Google Ads know what success actually looks like?
